Hello TOPS & KOPS members,
Fall Rally was just like planning a wedding so many details to think about but yet it was over in a day. Since it was held in western Mass, fewer members came but I believe a lot of members just had conflicts.
We did try to cut costs since it was in a hall for the first time ever and not a hotel from $60 to $40. I believe everyone enjoyed the day including the meal but maybe next year we will try to find a venue closer to home.
Thanks to the chapters who came to Fall Rally this year: 50 Melrose, 69 Lexington, 82 Reading, 107 Chelmsford, 327 Burlington, 478 Tewksbury
I was overwhelmed with the baskets that chapters donated. I have never seen so many in any Rally. Chapters went home with money as they took half of the proceeds from their sales.
I think it was due to MA Melrose donating 29 baskets alone. Their member Roberta Jenner dutifully donated her time and effort in making baskets every year and she passed away in August. She was actually planning on coming this year too.
