We invite you to a fun filled “TOPS Travels Back to the 1950’s” Fall Rally in Worcester, MA. There you will find KOPS inspiration and TOPS motivation as we honor the 2023 Summer Winners that have cruised and danced their way through memory lane to Success!!
Won’t you be among the first to reserve your seats as we Travel Back to the 1950’s?
Our exciting Fall Rally will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster Street, Worcester, MA 01609 . Keep in mind all contest started with your beginning weigh-in the week beginning June 19, 2023, and ends with the last weigh-in the week beginning September 11, 2023. All participants need to have a September weigh-in. We hope to see you all at Fall Rally this year, and we look forward to sharing in your success!!
There will be no need to arrive early to get the best seats. Tables will be assigned for chapters. They will be assigned as reservations come in. If you want a “front row” seat, get your reservations early! Late ones go to the back of the room. Please keep in mind each table can only hold eight, so if you have a large chapter, it may be necessary to seat your chapter at more than one table. Don’t delay! Also increase your chapter’s attendance from 2022’s Fall Rally for Special Recognition.
This year we will feature a 1950’s Letter Sweater Contest. This can be done as a chapter or individually. There must be at least one LETTER on the sweater, and the only other rule is to use your creativity and imagination.
We would also like to ask all chapters attending to be part of the entertainment for the day, by asking you to do a song, skit, or poem as a chapter. It is asked that this activity be theme related and up to 5 minutes long. Thank you ahead of time for sharing your talents.
Several people have asked if there will be a Hula Hoop Contest? The answer is… YES!!! So we encourage you to practice and enter the event.
In addition, chapters will be asked to pick one person as their Chapter Angel. This person should be someone who motivates, inspires, encourages others, and has a passion for TOPS. Leaders will be recognized, as well as, our consistent losers, KOPS of the Summer, New KOPS of the Summer, Members who Turtle throughout the Summer contest, Chapters with NO GAIN MEETINGS, and NET LOSSES. Members are also invited to share their TOPS story, as 3 winners will be chosen. Backsliders with at least a 5-pound loss during the contest will be recognized. Let’s not forget our Summer’s Best Losers.
