Hey Everyone.......I can't believe how fast the summer is passing us by – first we have such hot hot hot weather and now we have days that feel like fall. Enjoy them all – get out and go for a walk (I think I say that every month so hopefully you're all following those good instructions). Have a great August.........See you in September.

INFORMATION

INSPIRATION WORKSHOP – Our next workshop will be at Fall Rally and then again November 2nd just before the holidays. We will focus on surviving Thanksgiving, something we all need to plan for. It will be hosted by Duxbury – a beautiful facility that I know everyone will love. Mark your calendars.

CHAPTER IDEAS – Anyone have anything to add? How about some nice Fall contests that chapters can do.......let me know. I heard from Weymouth and they had a no gain meeting......AWESOME. Keep up the good work and let me know how you all are doing.

FALL RALLY – All chapters should have received their first Fall Rally letter from our chairman Ron Azzu. As a reminder, this year, Fall Rally will be October 5th in Leominster with Ron Azzu as the Chairperson. The theme this year will be Peace, Love and TOPS. Now is the time to be planning a couple fund raising events so your chapter can make it more affordable for members to attend these great events. Hey, it could be you that's the big loser for the event. Imagine that!!! If you are going and would like to help out with SRD presentation, let me know. Barbara and I will be chairing SRD next year and will be presenting. Let me know and I'll let you know what's up our sleeves.

CHAPTER VISITS – Just a few more chapters to hear from – let me know when I can visit this fall – would love to get to them in September and October before the holiday rush. Let me know when would be good.

Officers Workshop – Just finalizing a place for this workshop – we're focusing on Saturday, September 14th – hope that works. I'll send out a special email when it's final.

CARD FOR DOTTIE – An email went out earlier telling all chapters that Dottie Fuller, our Massachusetts Treasurer has decided to retire. Rosie will be doing something special for her at Fall Rally this year. If you can, can you have your chapter all sign a card for her and send the card to me? I will collect them for our area and send them along to Rosie. If your chapter can put a few dollars in the card as a donation, that would be great (but not mandatory). Thanks everyone
