Her Age

Harold's wife bought a new line of expensive cosmetics guaranteed to make her look years younger.
After a lengthy sitting before the mirror applying the "miracle" products, she asked, "Darling, honestly, what age would you say I am?"
Looking over her carefully, Harold replied, "Judging from your skin, twenty; your hair, eighteen; and your figure, twenty five."
"Oh, you flatterer!" she gushed.
"Hey, wait a minute!" Harold interrupted.
"I haven't added them up yet

The following is a note from our MA State Queen Paula who went to IRD and unfortunately became ill and had to be hospitalized. From: "Paula Ferland" <america_641@hotmail.com>
To: "Subject: letter to TOPS

To all my fellow TOPS and KOPS!

First I would like to congratulate all the people that received awards at the IRD. I am so bummed that I could not be apart of it all, especially since I was representing all my wonderful Massachusetts Chapters, but as you know some times the best laid plans go wrong! I want to thank all of you, a million times over, for all your prayers and thoughts while I was in the hospital. The outpouring of concern from all of you was overwhelming and really helped me keep up my spirits. I'm well on the road to recovery now, although still weak. Looking forward to being able to go to my TOPS Chapter meeting and telling all what a truly wonderful "family" TOPs Club, Inc. members are!

Sincerely, Paula Ferland

Hope your summer is going well.  Before we know it September will be here. Don't forget Saturday Sept. 15th is our FREE Inspiration Workshop at the Franklin Senior Center in Franklin, MA. Details and directions will be in the September newsletter.  If you have any questions feel free to call or e-mail me.

FALL RALLY....  CAMP YOUGOTTAWANNA  Saturday November 10th at the Westford Regency. You should have all received your packets by now. Let's see how many chapters will be recognized for the summer contests.  Think about having a fund raiser to help defray the cost for your members who are attending.

There is a copy of the International Winners. I was very impressed by  chapter 1383 Benton City WA with  AN AVERAGE WEIGHT LOSS OF 29.72 POUNDS PER MEMBER. Also a fooducate program.  If you have a i-pad or i-phone this a free app you can download.

381 Buzzards Bay is encouraging members to bring in a food chart.  They draw one name from the pile and that member receives $3.00.   We all know that keeping track of what we eat is so very important.       IF YOU BITE IT....WRITE IT!

Encourage your members to invite a friend to a meeting.  We are a wonderful support group and chances are once they attend they will join.

As always send me any news ,contests, program ideas, recipes you would like to share.

There are 5 pages in this newsletter.
