FARMER DAVE
I am having Farmer
Dave of Dracut come to our chapter on March 21 to speak about the
benefits of CSA. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership
between a farm and a community of responsible consumers. If you or
someone would like to come and see what they have to say, please have
one or two members from your chapter join us that evening. I am sure he
would come to your chapter too but you will have to schedule something
with them privately. If you have anything you would like to add for
our newsletter, please send it to me either electronically or snail
mail.
How To Plant Your Garden
For the Garden of your daily living,
plant 3 rows of peas: Peace of Mind, Peace of heart, & Peace of soul.
Plant 4 rows of Squash: Squash gossip, Squash indifference, Squash
grumbling and Squash selfishness.
Plant 4 rows of Lettuce: Lettuce be
loyal, Lettuce be kind, Lettuce be patient and Lettuce really love one
another.
No Garden is complete without Turnips, Turnip for meetings,
Turnip for service, and Turnip to support one another.
To conclude the
garden, we must have thyme: Thyme for each other, Thyme for family, and
Thyme for friends.
Water freely with patience and cultivate with love.
There's much fruit in your garden because you reap what
you sow.
If you don’t have time to read my newsletter out loud to your chapter,
either forward them to your members or print it out and give it to them.
As always, you know where you can find me. Cell: 978-551-1278 Home:
978-657-6103. FACEBOOK or text. See you lighter and hopefully at SRD.
