SRD 2018

	TOPS goes Hollywood

I would like to thank a few special members and guests who made SRD 2018 memorable. It so nice to see members helping out to make it as successful and a pleasure for everyone.

Regional Director from New York- Judy Pettit. She informed us  about TWO upcoming IRD’s. Judy will be busy in the next couple of years. Save the date in Portland Oregon for July 12 & 13, 2019 where we will present 2020 theme for the next IRD in 2020 in Niagara Falls, which is July 17 & 18, 2020. She brings much information and enthusiasm about our organization.

State Coordinator Rosemary Smith for being an inspiration. She truly shows TOPS is successful with her 100 plus pound weight loss to date.

Terri Lavigne serving the Western MASS & Worcester counties. She also ran the Century Medallion and the Past Area & State royalty and an afternoon workshop.
Lee Allen serving the Essex county and stepping in for the Circle of Light.
Barbara Pacheco serving Barnstable & Plymouth counties. She also coordinated the KOPS Tea.
Andrea Keough serving the Bristol & Norfolk and Suffolk counties, and myself with Middlesex. Andrea also led two events on stage; banner parade and reinstated KOPS. Remember Field Staff are here to endorse and applaud your chapters throughout the year.
MA 26 Beverly Chapter for making us look good on stage! A chapter who had never volunteered but yet decorated our hall with pizazz and glitz.
Sean Keough for running Powerpoint even though he has never attended a SRD.
Maryann Sullivan for using her talent by taking over 200 pics.
Barbara Worcester for posting live on Facebook the many events we had over the weekend.
Kathy Strum as Stage Manager filling in for the first time coordinating the events.
Tricia Gibbs for helping and passing out awards to our recipients.
Roberta Jenner & 50 Melrose for selling tickets to everyone for the 50/50 raffle.
Adrienne Kames for making Oscar favors & Stage Seater as she attended her first SRD.
Nanci Robinson as Marshall in leading the KOPS graduates in procession.
Della Kozlowski as first time presenter in a workshop.
Terri & David Lavigne also for volunteering to do a workshop Both workshops were very well attended in my opinion.
Bryan Falchuk our Keynote Speaker- for taking time to be with us on Friday night. His book is still available online if interested in buying it. Go to www.doaday.com and in the coupon section type in “TOPS” to get a $5.00 discount. His book will be autographed.
DJ -Tom Murphy entertaining us after the Friday night session. Members who were helped as Sales & Souvenirs, hostesses, registration people, lighting, escorts, behind the scenes.

Our charms and pinettes didn’t arrive on time but they are for sale now. They are $5.00 each. Send cash or check to either myself: Diane Trayah at 9 Ash St Tewksbury MA 01876 OR Rosemary Smith at 17 Davida Rd in Burlington MA 01801. Get yourself a souvenir ! Please specify charm or pinette.
