Dear TOPS members,
Here is some more information about our upcoming SRD.

ROOMS

Rooms are still available; it just depends on the type of room you are looking for. If for some reason you are told there are no rooms available please ask to speak with Tom O’Brien. Also please make sure you are using TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) when booking your room. If there are any issues please notify Patti Jean at 508-813- 7948 or pattijeanh@gmail.com.

Escorts

We are looking for 3 escorts: 2 male and 1 female. This is for Saturday for division winners and Royalty. Men need to be dressed in suite and tie and the woman needs to wear a gown. Please call Pattijean or me if you are interested.

Hostesses

We are looking for a chapter that will be the hostesses for SRD. This group of members will answer questions of other TOPS members about where workshops are located and the time they are held.

KOPS Charm and Beauty & Greatest Improvement

This is an essay contest on how you improved and feel about yourself. This doesn’t have anything to do with the amount of weight you lost. It has to do with your new selfesteem and how you changed since joining TOPS. KOPS Charm and Beauty is for both male and female KOPS. Greatest Improvement is for all TOPS members, male and female. We would love to hear your stories, what do you have to lose?

Graduates

All female graduates need to wear a black gown or a long black skirt with a black Top. Men need to wear black pants and jacket with a white shirt and tie.

Banners:

Every chapter is invited to take part in the Banner Parade, the parade will be held Friday, and the winners will be announced Saturday morning. 1 Must be no smaller than 3 feet by 2 feet and no bigger than 4 feet by 5 feet. 2 Must display chapter name (TOPS MA 0000 City or Town). 3 Use any type of material. 4 Bring something to display your banner on. An example could be an easel with a hook on it. 5 Have Fun!!!

Meals:

Sturbridge Host will provide a concession stand on Friday evening. Choices will include hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, fries, Caesar salad with or without chicken, snacks, soda & bottled water.

For Saturday, June 1, 2024’s Luncheon you can choose between 3 separate meals…

• Roasted Vegetables over a bed of Mushroom Risotto – Vegetarian & Gluten Free
• Statler Chicken finished with Lemon Garlic and Herb Sauce - Gluten Free
• Baked Haddock herb crusted in Lemon Butter

All meals will include a Garden Salad & house dressing, rolls and butter, Chef’s recommended starch, fresh vegetables of the season, and dessert from Chef’s seasonal dessert selection. Coffee and tea will also be provided throughout the day.
