You are invited to join us for the Massachusetts State Recognition Days on May 9th and 10th at the Crown-Plaza – Woburn, MA. This year’s theme is “TOPS Prom – Reaching for the Stars”.

With all the increases in prices the cost for SRD is $70.00 per person. This is due April 12, 2025. However, we are offering an early bird special of $65.00 per person if registered by March 10, 2025.

We are currently still in the planning stages; however, we are working on putting together some great workshops for Friday, starting at 12:00 noon, and we invite you to bring your lunch and sit back and share the fun. Some of the workshops/Socials include a KOPS Social, Leaders & Co-Leader’s Social, Weight Recorder & Treasurer’s Workshops, Tai Chi, Jeopardy Game, Healthy Bingo and an Inspirational Workshop. There will be something for everyone.

Friday Evenings Session wil include a Banner Parade with participants from each chapter, Leaders Parade, Before & After Recognition for members who have lost 35 pounds or more, a Fashion Parade of your best Prom fashions, a special guest speaker Body Builder & Coach, Ryan Horton. We are also working on having music after the session for a Dance Party and lots of fun for socialization.

Each Chapter is encouraged to enter the Banner Parade. The rules for the Banner Parade are as follows…
    1. Theme related
    2. No smaller than 3 feet x 2 feet, No bigger than 4 feet x 5 feet
    3. Display full chapter name; example: TOPS MA 0000 Town
    4. Use any type of material
    5. Let your imagination go wild!

Saturday, Morning will be filled with celebrations. We will hear from our SPA (Special Program Administrator) Mary Mullane, to find out who made the Coordinators Challenge, our State Division Winners and the Coronation of our 2024 State Royalty. As well those who have earned their Century Award, and much more. The Afternoon will be all about our KOPS, Graduates, Reinstated KOPS, Alumni, Pendants, Yellow Rose Ceremony and of Course the Circle of Light.

Each chapter is also being asked to donate either $25.00 or a basket gift for the Raffle.

Each attendee will be able to choose from one of the following entrees for their dinner.
    • French Chicken Breast
    • Roasted Turkey Breast
    • Vegetarian Choice: Wild Mushroom Ravioli
Each entrée will include an Artisan Garden Green Salad, Herb Roasted Potatoes and Roasted Seasonal Vegetables and Dessert.

Flowers: We will be offering Prom flowers for order. Boutonnieres will be $10.00 each and Corsages will be $25.00 each. Corsages can be ordered in either a wrist or pin style. Orders need to be made by March 10, 2025. Please make sure to state the style and color you need. Flowers can be picked up at Sales & Souvenirs.

Hotel Information: This event will be at The Crowne Plaza Boston-Woburn, 15 Middlesex Canal Park Road, Woburn, MA 01801. The phone number is 781-935-8760. The rooms for TOPS are contracted to be $129.00 a night plus tax.
