Holbrook with a loss of 36.50#

I joined TOPS for the second time in the last 20
years. First time was to help my mother; this time
is in her memory.
Before she passed away last January she kept asking
me to lose the weight. After she died I put on 14
lbs. in less than 2 months. I knew I had to do
something and decided to go back to the same Chapter
we had belonged to in Holbrook.
The Chapter greeted me with warmth and enthusiasm.
It was nice to see some familiar faces of members
that stuck with TOPS all these years. Some have
become KOPS. I also got three of my sisters-in-law
and a cousin to join with me which definitely has
helped to keep me motivated.
My legs and feet are very grateful for the weight
loss, they thank me every night. I still hate to
shop for clothes, but it is so much easier.
